The modular design of Mersen’s Finger-Safe PDBs allow for multi-pole application. Simply use assembly pins and create the multi-pole configuration you require.
Finger-safe protection and IP20 rating are achieved by use of a fully insulated block. This ensures that live parts are isolated and unable to be touched. This is further enforced by recessed termination screws and wire openings. Cap plugs are also available to cover unused openings and maintain complete touch safety.
Most sizes feature integral DIN rail adaptors and yield lower installation costs as a result. These adaptors allow for quick and easy installations on 35mm DIN rail.
A unique channel design ensures captive metric wire termination screws. This design means that screws can never be lost.
A smaller option is available to reduce the space requirement for these already compact finger-safe PDBs. These more compact PDBs range from 85 to 250 Amps with a 600VAC/DC rating. Proper fusing gives them a 100KA SCCR. These compact PDBs feature the same great finger-safe and IP20 protections as the regular finger-safe PDBs, and in addition they have translucent covers that allow for easy inspection of wiring.
