In StockDelta’s DTB Temperature Controllers receive input signals from devices such as temperature sensors. The controller then uses that data to compare to the desired temperature and provides output to another part of the control system, such as a fan or a heater, to manipulate the temperature.

The DTB Series meters work great as both temperature and process controllers. Their range of analog inputs enable their flexibility as process controllers.
The DTB Series accepts a variety of sensor inputs. With these sensor inputs, the DTB can help manage the temperature in or around an application by operating a heating unit, fan, or other device when it is told by the input that a set temperature point has been reached.
Temperature Control Inputs

By accepting analog inputs, DTB meters can work as process controllers in addition to simple temperature control. While temperature sensor inputs operate on a basic on/off signal, devices that send analog inputs to the DTB meter can relay more specific data. The meter can then use this information to output greater control over an application. One example of this could be anticipating a change in state of the application through an additional metering device rather than reacting to it via sensor input.
Process Control Inputs
• Analog Inputs (0-5V, 0-10V, 0-20mA, 4-20mA, 0-50mV)
Universal Sensor Inputs enable the panel meter to convert any signal in the appropriate voltage range to a value on the display. The DTB's Universal Sensor Input means that the series can receive signals from virtually any manor of sensor including temperature, pressure, position, and more.
