Emergency Stop (E-Stop) Pushbuttons are very visible and easy-to-engage pushbuttons with almost universally recognized purpose. They are designed specifically for use as a button that allows operators to fully shut down an application when required for emergency or other means.

E-Stop pushbuttons are maintained pilot devices that do NOT automatically release. Release action determines how to disengage the button (and thus the “OFF” state they produce). Three special action release types are available.
