Do your self a favor if you are getting one of these FMX drives and buy this cable!!! After trying for several hours using the drive key pad (and kept making mistakes) I finally hooked this cable to one of my lap tops and literally withing 5 minutes had all my parameters,I/O choices, and adjustments set up and was golden. The interface initially takes a bit to set up as far as COM port but as long as you have a decent updated computer O/S the driver load with no problem. I did initially try it with my offline WIN7 Pro I use for my equipment but #1, no drivers and #2, the graphics for the software would not render. But on my cheap WIN10 Pro lap top it was no problem other than a few minutes chasing the COM port for connection. Again, you really need this for an easy set up!!
