 OVERVIEW



Low Voltage General Purpose transformers are used to change voltage and are suitable for a wide variety of applications and are in accordance with NEMA, ANSI, and IEEE standards as applicable. Models are available in encapsulated or ventilated types to fit a variety of environments


Micron Low Voltage General Purpose


• Built and tested in accordance with applicable NEMA, ANSI and IEEE standards
• All 600 volt class transformers are UL listed unless otherwise noted
• Designed for 60 Hz operation
• Short term overload is designed into transformers as required by ANSI
• Primary and secondary windings are terminated in the wiring compartment


Encapsulated

• Suitable for indoor or outdoor applications
• 185°C insulation system (115°C rise)
• NEMA 3R enclosure
• Encapsulated units have copper leads or stabs brought out for connections


Ventilated

• Primarily for indoor locations (Outdoor use with optional weathershields)
• 220°C insulation system (150°C rise)
