Auer Multi-tone Sounders are ideal for harsh environments where a very loud signal is required. A-Series sounders are Type 4X rated and available with up to 113dB output.
Two Sounder Types
Choose from the AAS series for a smaller footprint or ASM series for increased sound output.
Mounting
Standard conduit knockouts and optional mounting brackets make installation easy and allows the A-Series to be combined with other A-Series modules or M22 series beacons.
UL Type 4, 4X & 13 Rating
AG1/AG2 gasket accessory ensures Type 4X seal when flat mounting.
Flexible Mounting
A-Series sound modules can be mounted on a flat panel, with a multi-angle bracket, or on rigid conduit.
Removable Terminal Block
A-Series sound modules are easily wired, featuring removable terminal blocks.
Indoor or Outdoor Use
UV resistance ensures that the A-Series modules can be used for outdoor applications.

Applications
Industrial Plant Construction
A-Series sound modules are easy to install and with their increased sound output, can be heard across a large open area. Plant safety depends on a signal being heard by all workers and the up to 113dB output of the A series sounders ensures the alert is heard over machine and ventilation noise.
Crane Construction
A typical application of signaling equipment is in crane construction. A-Series sounders are commonly used in overhead cranes. These cranes are often used in large production halls for parts that are too large, too heavy, or too unwieldy to be moved by hand. When these cranes are in use, extreme caution and concentration are required and proper signaling equipment ensures that all in the area know the crane is in use.
Door & Gate Control
Process automation not only changes the requirements for machines, but also for the signaling equipment attached to them.
