Inductive proximity sensors are designed to sense ferrous metal objects at close range. Proximity sensors are used in a wide variety of applications and are generally unaffected by the presence of oils, non-metallic powders, liquids or vibration.
In many applications inductive proximity sensors will outlive mechanical limit switches by millions of operations. Mounting is simple and hookup wiring is made easier with several cable or connection options.
