All TECO AC Drives provide up to 150% torque for up to one minute.  When additional braking torque is required, an optional braking resistor can be added to improve deceleration times.
For TECO AC Drive ratings under 20HP the breaking transistor is internal to the drive.  For AC Drives over 20HP the braking unit must be purchased seperately when addition braking is required.
